Information provided by Kate Braun (2011):

Habitat: Wooded streamline in open sourveld grassland.

Distribution: Swaziland, Pine Valley.

Flowering season: Flowering April to June.

Discussion: Only known from Ellen Kemp's herbarium specimen collected in the 1980's, and observations/photos by Kate Braun in 2006. The plant is unobtrusive, so it is possible that it is more widely distributed.

Red List assessment: Very rare and restricted in distribution, known only from one or two localities (precise location of herbarium specimen not known).

Known Collections: SWAZILAND: Mbabane District, Black Umbuluzi Valley 9 km NE of Mbabane, Kemp E S 1300 (PRE), 2631AA.
