Pouzolzia mixta    (Soap Nettle)  udekane,
     Bark used for fibre for rope or string. Crushed leaves for a soap.
Protorhus longifolia    (Red Beech )  imfuce,  ndiyaza,  umhlangothi,  umhlangoti,  umkhamamasi,
     Furniture. Sticky gum used as adhesive.
Prunus africana    (Red Stinkwood)  umdumezulu,
     Occasionally used for furniture but difficult to work.
Pseudognaphalium luteo-album    (Jersey Cudweed)  umgilane,
     Used as room fumigant
Psidium guajava *   (Common Guava)  emagwava,  ligwava,  mguwa,  mkguwa,  mkhiwa,  ugwava,  umgwava,
     Very hard wood used in Caribbean for spinning tops.
Ptaeroxylon obliquum    (Sneezewood)  umtsatse,  umtsatsi,
     Crafts. Termite proof furniture. Effective machine bearings.
Pterocarpus angolensis    (Wild Teak/Kiaat)  umvangati,  umvangatsi,  umvangazi,
     Used for dishes, drums, paddles, bowls, spoons & furniture. Bark mixed with fat is a body ointment.
Pterocarpus rotundifolius    (Round-leaved Kiaat)  indiebezindlovu,  lidlebe-lendlovu,  lidlebindlovu,  sivangatane,
     Furniture & household utensils.
Pycreus nitidus     ikhwane,  intsekane,
     Rhizomes for necklaces and as perfume.
Rapanea melanophloeos    (Cape Beech)  dzilidzili,  gcolo,  gcolokhulu,  gcolokhulu,  gcolokulu,  ikhubakhula,  ligcolo,  ludzilidzile,  luqolokulu,  maphipha,
     Wood used for cabinets & violins.
Rauvolfia caffra    (Quinine Tree)  umfomamasi,  umhlambamanzi,  umkhamamasi,  umtfomasi,
     Wood for drums & kitchen utensils
Rawsonia lucida    (Forest Peach)  inanga,  sehlulamanye,
     Wood used for carrying sticks.
Rhamnus prinoides    (Dogwood)  inyenye,  linyenye,  sineyi,
     Small handicrafts
Rhoicissus digitata    (Baboon Grape)
     Pumpkin spray
