Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Bauhinia fassoglensis - Long trailing, sometimes climbing. Leaf stalk c 10 cm long, attached to single blade in the middle of wide concavity, blade hairless, up to 15 cm wide, only c 8 cm along middle line, shortly notched, principal veins diverging from attachment of stalk. Inflorescence 30 cm or more long: flowers few, large; stalk c 4 cm long; calyx tube short, broad, lobes c 2 cm long x 4 mm wide, pointed, silky; petals yellow, veined, 3 cm long x 2 cm wide.
