Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Tryphostemma sagittatum - Perennial with straggling trailing leafy shoots, hairless throughout. Leaf-stalks slender, up to I ,5 cm long, usually less, blades deeply three-lobed, middle lobe usually longest, laterals often directed backwards, with numerous fine-pointed teeth of various sizes, mostly directed forwards; middle lobe up to 3 cm long x 2,5 cm wide. Flowers, one or two on long slender axillary stalk often ending in slender tendril; calyx c 5 mm long; petals slightly longer, white, edge fringed.
