Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Asparagus minutiflorus - Roots with tubers. Stem erect, softly woody, grooved, usually rough, pale, up to 50 cm high. Branchlets clustered, straight, spineless. Cladodes three-angled, up to 1 cm long, in clusters of up to eight, slightly curved. Flowers few or solitary, terminal. Perianth segments 2—3 mm long. Fruit up to 7 mm diam, one-seeded.
